Saturday, 27 December 2008
European Siren goalie Lisa Poolar must have faced over 40 shots, but that was not enough for the Euroepan Sioens to beat the United World Ice Maidens. The Ice Maidens attacked quik and often and they continued to be thrwarted by Poolar and her acrobatic style. Ice Maidens finally beat Poolar when Andrea Taggert found the back of the net to open the scoring. Maria Kappos scored to make it 2-0. It was Kappos' first goal ever in her first ever game of hockey.
